KREA defends solidarity as one of the values that define its cultural project. Thus, it is working together with different NGO’s, providing them with resources and collaborating in specific programmes.
Besides, it has paid special attention to accessibility for handicapped people, both in its real premises and in its homesite. Handicapped people may access the KREA building easily because it has observed all the regulations in force, www.kreared.com also complies with the WAI international regulations, at a double level, guaranteeing that a high percentage of people may access information.
KREA coordinates the actions and programmes implemented by the Permanent Fund concerning awareness-raising and research as far as environment is concerned, which are carried out through a cooperation agreement with CEA (Centre of Environmental Studies).
The KREA building has been designed according to the principles of sustainable development and respect for the environment. The material used for its construction has been selected according to a low environmental impact scale, its energy supply system promotes saving (solar panels,
oriented towards the South...), recycling is obligatory and the waste generated by the construction of the building has been reduced as much as possible.
KREA promotes the use of new technologies for the development of its proposals, enhancing their spread and use by providing preferential support to those projects that use new technologies as part of their working methods.
