On 25th November the play ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses’ by Christopher Hampton will premiere in London’s Embassy Theatre, in which David Alcorta is the lighting designer.
The director is Kath Rogers and the stage design is by Brandon O'Connor.
This December the ‘Introduction to lighting’ course will be given at the Taller de Artes Escénicas in Vitoria.
In January he will travel to Poland in order to start working on a piece that will be premiered on 4th March at the Shunt Lounge in London. This play, based on the Alexander Pushkin poem ‘Feast in Time of Plague’, is a co-production between the
Instituto Grotowski in Poland and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. It will be directed by Andrei Biziorek and designed by Katherine Orton.
Besides this, David Alcorta is currently working as an assistant for lighting technician Tony Simpson on different spectacles.
