The management model implemented by KREA Expresión Contemporánea places society at the centre of its processes and therefore, in order to provide an up-to-the-minute response, it offers communication channels for collectives and individuals in its sphere of activity, whilst at the same time analysing changes in social demands.

The Creation Programme is the product of this liaison and KREA’s observation of its cultural and social surroundings, through an open and continuous exchange of ideas.

This programme, through its different sections, aims to provide resources and infrastructures that enable different social and cultural agents, both professionals and amateurs, to develop their proposals in an optimum way with a view to giving something back to society as a whole, and specifically to Álava.

But it is by no means a closed programme, not even a complete one; it is the start of a working process that will reach a decisive point with the opening of our new headquarters, offering highly sought-after spaces such as residences and workshops, and opening up the project to international exchanges.

Grants

The aim of this annual programme is to promote contemporary creation, contribute to training, research and development, and raise the profile of the various projects supported.

Funding

Funding is available with preference given to individuals and private legal entities based in Álava, engaged in the development of activities in the field of visual and performing arts, and which are registered with the tax authorities under the relevant heading for taxation on economic and business activities.
