You’ll almost definitely remember the music from Robert Rodríguez’s films ‘Desperado’ and ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’. Now, you can enjoy it live for the first time ever in the Basque Country. The frontier rock group from Los Angeles will be performing on the 21st July as part of its ‘Back into the darkness tour 2008’ of Europe.
Tickets cost €22, or €20 with Caja Vital Telecaja and €15 with Telecaja Joven cards, and will be going on sale on the 9th June at KREA’s headquarters, No. 17 Postas.
‘Tito & Tarantula’ was founded in Los Angeles in the mid 1990s by the Mexican singer and guitarist Tito Larriva, known previously as the founder of the punk band ‘The Plugz’ and for minor roles in films such as ‘Repo Man’. The success enjoyed by the group in the 1990s was largely thanks to the director Robert Rodríguez, who used their music in his films ‘Desperado’ (1995) and ‘From Dusk Til Dawn’ (1996), when an unforgettable Salma Hayek danced with a snake around her neck to the song ‘After Dark’. In 1997, they released their debut album, "Tarantism", which they followed up with ‘Hungry Sally and Other Killer Lullabies’ (1999), ‘Little Bitch’ (2000) and ‘Andalucia’ (2002).
